For hundreds – perhaps thousands – of years, tattoos have been one of the most potent and personal forms of self-expression. Sexual allure; bravery; pledges of love – the stories behind these markings are as complex as humanity. Based on Polynesian patterns first recorded by Captain Cook, we have created our Tattoo quilt, with its powerful yet intricate design, as our exuberant tribute to the decoration of the human body.
